
GJEPC, in association with the Uttar Pradesh Vyapar Mandal – Sarafa Wing, organized a special “Jewellery Chaupal” in Kanpur. The event was led by Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director of GJEPC, and Ms. Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director of GJEPC.
Retail jewellers from all across Kanpur enthusiastically engaged, engaging in talks with the GJEPC team. Mr. Pandey discussed GJEPC membership perks, export documentation, MSME initiatives, IJEX, and international trade potential. He emphasized how India’s gem and jewellery industry is increasingly acquiring worldwide recognition.
Ms. Sunke discussed the highlights of IIJS Premiere 2025, including its business potential and participation process. She encouraged local jewelers to use IIJS as a platform to grow their businesses and build worldwide networks.
The Sarafa Wing executives praised GJEPC‘s initiative, stating that such events assist to increase knowledge, networking, and create new opportunities for exports. The GJEPC team also visited a few retail locations in the city to raise awareness about its various projects.
