The Mumbai-based jewellery label Oropel has unveiled a new line named ‘Noor’, inspired by musical rhythms and natural elements. This collection showcases designs crafted from 14K gold and lab-grown diamonds, featuring a color palette that includes emerald green, ruby red, black onyx, and warm gold hues.
Founded by designer Neeti Patwa, Oropel emphasizes handcrafted jewellery that blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. The Noor collection embodies this philosophy through its use of classic materials presented in contemporary styles.
An outstanding characteristic of the collection is its focus on versatility. Many necklaces within the collection come with three detachable, hand-embroidered straps, providing various styling possibilities. The range also includes chokers, earrings, bracelets, and layered necklaces, with numerous pieces combining uncut diamonds with vibrant gemstones in striking settings.
As stated by Patwa, the collection was designed to embody a balance between individual expression and enduring style, offering jewellery that is suitable for a variety of occasions.
The launch of Noor is part of a wider trend in India’s fine jewellery market, where brands are exploring lab-grown materials and hybrid designs that meet changing consumer demands, especially in urban areas.
