A delegation of 60 members from the Coimbatore Jewellery Manufacturers Association (CJMA) recently traveled to the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) in Dubai, UAE, to seek opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market. The visit, organized by the GJEPC Chennai Regional Office team, aimed to connect manufacturers from Coimbatore with prospective buyers and partners in the area.
IJEX welcomed the delegation and provided valuable insights into how the platform aids Indian manufacturers in reaching global markets, especially within the GCC. The IJEX team organized a tour to demonstrate the facility and its operations.
Muthu Venkatram, CJMA President, emphasized the crucial role that IJEX serves as a link between Indian exporters and the GCC market. He expressed his contentment with the platform’s effectiveness and encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Coimbatore to take advantage of the opportunities presented.
