The seventh edition of GJC’s Preferred Manufacturer of India (PMI)

The 7th edition of GJC’s PREFERRED MANUFACTURER OF INDIA (PMI) was held from February 16th to 18th, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Gurugram. It provided a wide range of collections, including gold, diamond, and antique gold jewelry, to meet the industry’s diversified needs. Over 1,800 meetings were held over the three-day event, underlining PMI‘s role as a key driver of growth in the jewellery sector and assisting shops in replenishing their inventory for the wedding season.

The inauguration in Gurugram, with Honorable MLA Shri Mukesh Sharma lighting the ceremonial lamp, was a momentous event, bringing together 42 premier manufacturers and over 200 notable merchants from throughout India.

Rajesh Rokde, Chairman, GJC, stated, “As Chairman of the GJC, I am pleased that Preferred Manufacturer of India (PMI) has established a new standard. PMI is more than a platform; it is a game-changing program that builds meaningful business relationships, promotes brand positioning, and boosts profitability.”

Avinash Gupta, Vice Chairman of GJC, stated, “Over 1,800 meetings were held over the three-day event, underlining PMI’s role as a vital driver of growth in the jewellery business and assisting retailers in replenishing their stock for the wedding season.

It was an honor to be a part of the installation of Rajesh Rokde as Chairman, together with me as Vice Chairman and the new Board members, which marked a big step forward for our joint vision. PMI remains a leading platform for real business interactions and setting new standards in the jewellery sector.”

Chetan Thadeshwar, PMI Convener, stated, “As PMI Convener, I am delighted with the PMI’s achievement. Over 200 elite merchants and 42 top manufacturers attended the exhibition, which showcased a premium variety of collections such as gold, diamond, couture, and ancient gold jewellery.

Even if the gold price remains high, the reaction was overwhelming, with shops replenishing their stock for the next wedding season and over 1,800 meetings held, supporting PMI’s reputation as the top platform for industry leaders to connect.

Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic for the next show in Goa, which will take place from June 10th to 12th, 2025. PMI remains dedicated to offering a premier environment for collaboration, growth, and showcasing the best in jewelry.”
