
The MSME Development & Facilitation Centre in Agra recently hosted a national seminar on export promotion with the theme “Breaking Borders, Building Businesses” at Hotel Opal Courtyard, NH-19, Sikandra. The event was opened by Chief Guest Mr. A. Bipin Menon, ITS, Chairman & CEO of NSEZ, Noida, who was joined by dignitaries such as Dr. R.K. Bharti, IEDS, Joint Director, MSME DFO Delhi. Mr. Menon emphasized the importance of infrastructure, financing, and marketing in increasing Agra’s exports beyond ₹7,500 crore through Ministry of Commerce’s export schemes. He also emphasized India’s need to improve commercial relations with important global markets. Mr. Sanjeev Bhatia, Regional Director of GJEPC, spoke about jewellery export potential through e-commerce and courier services, which are particularly beneficial to women entrepreneurs. He invited people to training seminars on export strategy. The conference was well-attended by over 250 people, highlighting the importance of MSMEs in promoting export growth.
