VAJRA INDUSTRY RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC MEET (VAIRAM) 2025, organized by GJEPC and IIT Madras, was inaugurated in Chennai.

The Vajra Industry Research and Academic Meet (Vairam) 2025, organized by GJEPC and InCent LGD IIT Madras, was officially launched at the IITM Research Park in Chennai.

Prof. V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, Prof. M S Ramachandra Rao, InCent-LGD, IIT Madras, Mr. Manish Jiwani, Co-Convener, LGD Committee, GJEPC, and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC, among other dignitaries and industry experts, unveiled Vajra Industry Research and Academic Meet (Vairam) 2025 at IITM Research Park in Chennai.

The training includes multiple panel discussions. “Beyond Gems: Next-Generation Applications of OLab-Grown Diamonds” investigates the possibilities for LGDs in fields other than jewellery. “Lab-Grown Diamond Growth and Treatment Recipes and Challenges” looks into the complexities of CVD and HPHT techniques. “Diamond Quality Checks and Certification” covers the critical requirement for standardized quality control of stones, jewelry, and seeds. “Lab Grown Diamond Machines and Processing Equipment” will emphasize the necessity of indigenous equipment manufacture in boosting India’s self-reliance. Over 150 industry professionals attended the workshop.
