Reena Ahluwalia is inducted into the Hall of Fame, honoring her innovative legacy.

The award, presented by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), is regarded as the pinnacle of distinction in the business, honoring visionaries whose contributions have influenced the industry.

This year, the Hall of Fame honored six trailblazing women who have transformed the jewelry industry through their ingenuity and leadership. In addition to Reena Ahluwalia, the notable inductees were Farah Khan Ali, Revathi Kant, Dr. Usha Balakrishnan, Vaishali Banerjee, and Pallavi Foley. These trailblazers defied conventions, paving the way for future generations of jewelry designers and business executives.

“We are delighted and proud to honour Reena Ahluwalia with the Hall of Fame recognition,” commented GJEPC. “Her contributions have helped shape and advance the gem and jewellery industry. As a worldwide acclaimed artist, jewelry designer, and educator, her ground-breaking designs and inventions have set new industry standards. Her accomplishments include groundbreaking jewelry techniques, a Guinness World Record-winning watch, and the diamond setting for the historic Mace of Ontario. She has also been at the vanguard of technology and blockchain integration in the jewellery industry, mentoring the next generation of designers.

Reena Ahluwalia expressed her thanks, saying, “Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is an incredible honour. My objective has always been to contribute, innovate, and enhance our business while motivating future generations to be creative without boundaries.”

In addition to the six notable ladies, six renowned Indian jewellery retailers were admitted into the Hall of Fame for their successful Initial Public Offerings. These stores, including P.N. Gadgil Jewellers, RBZ Jewellers, Motisons Jewellers, Manoj Vaibhav Gems ‘N’ Jewellers, Senco Gold, and Kalyan Jewellers, have achieved a significant milestone in their respective businesses.

Adding a soulful touch to the ceremony, famous vocalist Javed Ali gave a spellbinding musical performance that added to the event’s grandeur.

Reena Ahluwalia‘s entry into the Hall of Fame cements her reputation as a visionary force in the jewellery business, encouraging a future of limitless creativity and invention.
