
The fourth session of the two-month Exporters’ Development Programme (EDP) was successfully held on December 27th, with a large attendance of 90 participants. Mr. Nitin Khandelwal, Regional Director – Jaipur, GJEPC, led the discussion, which emphasized on critical components of e-commerce exports such as timing, significant dates, successful advertising, and the necessity for persistent efforts.
A notable aspect of the workshop was the enormous enthusiasm among participants in researching e-commerce channels for exports. More than 50 people indicated an interest in embarking on this expedition. Recognizing this passion, the organizers will provide additional assistance and support to these participants to assist them in successfully navigating the world of e-commerce exports.
The EDP session stressed the importance of timeliness and strategic planning in e-commerce success. Participants learnt the value of identifying and capitalizing on key dates and seasonal trends. The seminar also emphasized the need of win-win incentives for both customers and sellers, recognizing that recurring orders are the foundation of successful e-commerce enterprises.
Participants were reminded that e-commerce is a distinct business segment that requires a tailored strategy. The seminar emphasized the need for an Import Export Code (IEC) for cross-border e-commerce enterprises, as well as the importance of persistent efforts in attaining long-term success in the e-commerce area.
The 5th Session of the Exporters’ Development Program – Export Documentation has been scheduled on January 2nd, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30pm.
