Financing and Market Access Top Agenda for GJEPC and Exim Bank’s Jaipur Visit

On December 12, a joint team from the GJEPC and Exim Bank visited Jaipur’s gemstone and jewellery manufacturing units to analyze the sector’s strengths and problems, as well as to develop strategies for growing regional exports.

The tour intended to get firsthand knowledge of the operational landscape of local firms. The group sought advice from industry leaders on how to improve export performance and overcome existing challenges.

The crew also visited the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IIGJ) Jaipur and its accompanying laboratory. This tour was focused on analyzing the industry’s present level of skilling and certification, as well as designing a capacity building roadmap aimed toward export growth.

Shri Arvind Gupta, President of the Sitapura Gems and Jewellery Industry Association, and Shri Neeraj Lunawat, Honorary Secretary of the Jewellers Association Jaipur, attended the conference.
