The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) recently conducted its annual Industry Summit, a prominent event that brought together industry executives and professionals, on October 21st. One of the summit’s highlights was the kind donation of an exquisite diamond artwork by artist Reena Ahluwalia.
Ahluwalia’s artwork, “Pristine,” is a stunning piece that demonstrates the beauty and brilliance of Canadian diamonds. The picture, worth $5,000, was donated as a raffle prize to benefit the CJA.
The CJA Industry Summit was a resounding success, with a big attendance and a broad selection of programming, including educational sessions, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities. The event finished with the CJA Awards, which were sponsored by De Beers.
“I make art to bring joy to people’s lives,” Ahluwalia explained. “When art can serve (a purpose), it’s one of the most gratifying feelings.”
Angela Betteridge, CJA Chair, complimented Ahluwalia’s generosity and service to the association. “Thank you, Reena Ahluwalia, for donating your incredible art,” Betteridge added. “The Canadian Jewellers Association is deeply grateful for your most generous support.”
