India Post and the GJEPC met on October 15th to discuss the issues that exporters encounter when delivering goods. Shri Himanshu Chaudhari, ADG (International Relations and Global Business), New Delhi, and Dr. Sudhir Jakhere (IPoS), Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development and Marketing) for the Maharashtra Postal Circle, represented the Indian Post. Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director of GJEPC; Shri Mithilesh Pandey, Director – Head Membership; and other Council officials took part in the deliberations.
The major goal of the conference was to examine opportunities for India Post to tailor its services to the specific needs of the gem and jewellery industry. By identifying areas of mutual interest and prospective collaboration, the two institutions hope to improve export processes and increase industrial growth.
