Surat Diamond Bourse has struck an agreement with the Lab Grown Diamond Association (LGDA) to move approximately 40 lab-grown companies from elsewhere in Surat. Mahesh Gadhvi, CEO of SDB, has stated that 250 offices are now occupied.”We are steadily progressing towards opening more offices and starting more businesses through SDB,” he told a TV broadcaster.
The massive new complex, acknowledged by Guinness World Records as the largest office building in the world, was officially opened by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi last December.It has a capacity of 4,500 offices but is mostly empty.
