Vicenzaoro September 2024: The Italian Exhibition Group Prepares for a Sold-Out Edition

The highly anticipated Vicenzaoro September 2024, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will take place from September 6 to 10 at the Vicenza Expo Centre. This year’s edition sold out again, confirming its standing as one of the world’s best gold and jewellery exhibits.

A Bold New Layout, Looking To The Future.

Matteo Farsura, IEG‘s Global Exhibition Manager for Jewelry & Fashion, stressed the strategic planning behind this year’s show. “With the destruction of Halls 2 and 5, the international gold and jewellery show looks to the future. This transformation, however difficult, will pay off, ensuring Vicenzaoro‘s continued prominence on the global stage because to its 70-year history.”

Vicenzaoro will use three temporary rooms until January 2026 while development on a 22,000 square meter facility built by the renowned Hamburg-based designer Gmp continues. These interim solutions will ensure continuity, with the same number of exhibitors despite the repairs.

A Showcase Of Global Excellence.

This year’s exhibition will include 1,200 exhibiting businesses from 35 nations, with 40% of them coming from outside, including Turkey, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Thailand, and Belgium. Italy’s renowned jewelry districts, such as Arezzo, Valenza, and Campania, will be well-represented, highlighting the country’s craftsmanship and expertise. The event’s international reach is boosted by a robust business matching program sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

Temporary Halls and Specialized Exhibitions

Despite the modifications, Vicenzaoro pledges to provide an unrivaled buyer experience. Temporary Hall 4a will be home to the “Creation” community, which will feature jewelry artisans. Semi-finished products and jewelry will be showcased in Hall 7a, while packaging businesses will be located in Hall 10. Hall 3.2 will highlight lab-grown diamonds, a burgeoning business segment. Meanwhile, trendy jewellery and contemporary watchmaking will be showcased in Hall 1 as part of the TIME community.

VO’Clock Privé: A Haven for Watch Enthusiasts

The VO’Clock Privé, which takes place from September 6 to 8, will return as a highlight for watch enthusiasts. Located in Hall 8.1, it will allow fans, collectors, and connoisseurs to preview new collections from prominent watch companies. Seminars with significant personalities in watchmaking will dive into the technical and historical aspects of the trade, adding to the event’s reputation.

Panels, Trade Associations, and Trend Analysis

The event will also feature panels organized by industry associations such as CIBJO, Confindustria Federorafi, and Assogemme, among others. Furthermore, the most recent edition of IEG‘s Trendbook, a forward-thinking jewelry observatory written by Trendvision jewelry + Forecasting, will be released, providing insights into current trends.

VIOFF Off-Show and Citywide Celebration

As part of Vicenzaoro‘s 70th anniversary celebrations, the exhibition will once again partner with the Vicenza Municipal Council to present the VIOFF off-show, which will combine gold, jewelry, and culture with citywide events.

With a sold-out exhibition and a clear vision for the future, Vicenzaoro September 2024 seems to be a watershed moment in the global jewellery calendar.
