Last week, GJEPC successfully held a conference in Surat on the revolutionary impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the gem and jewellery sector, which was attended by over 400 industry professionals.
The event, led by GJEPC’s Gujarat Regional Chairman, Mr. Vijay Mangukiya, offered a detailed overview of the organization’s activities and their role in defining the industry’s future. A highlight of the session was a live presentation of jewelry design utilizing ChatGPT, in which attendees actively participated by providing prompts to influence the design process.
The potential of Augmented Reality (AR) to revolutionize e-commerce sales was also demonstrated, emphasizing its practical applications in the business. Furthermore, the Export Licensing Procedure ELP division presented the GJEPC-developed SOPs and encouraged delegates to implement them for more efficient business operations.
The session finished with a presentation of the future IIJS event, which invited Ahmedabad retailers to join.
