GJEPC Showcases Growth Opportunities at IGNITE in Maharashtra.

On Friday, July 19th, IGNITE Maharashtra was held under the chairmanship of Collector Thane. Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director of Membership, GJEPC, spoke at the event about the gem and jewelry sector’s future prospects, as well as the India jewelry Park in Mahape, Navi Mumbai.

Mr. Pandey discussed the considerable export potential accessible to MSMEs via courier services, e-commerce, and hand carriage. He described GJEPC‘s vast support network, which includes over 10,000 members, a stringent KYC and code of ethics policy, and an emphasis on environmental consciousness. He also talked about the IIJS show, which provides new business opportunities for MSMEs, and mentioned different amenities like a call center, ITDC, IIGJ, and training through the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

He also highlighted the benefits provided to about 7.5 lakh craftsmen through schemes such as Swasthya Ratna and Parichay card, and explained GJEPC‘s action plan to help all Council members become exporters.

Senior representatives from DGFT, GST, DIC, India Post, and other institutions delivered talks at the event. Around 250 industrialists attended the event, which ended with Mr. Pandey thanking Collector Thane and the Additional Secretary of Industry for their cooperation.
