GJEPC Delhi RO Organizes Seminar on Appendix 4 ‘O’ Certificate

The GJEPC Regional Office in Delhi recently held an Awareness Programme centered on the Appendix 4 ‘O’ Certificate, its provisions, and prerequisites. The event was held at the Conference Hall in Jhandewalan, Delhi, with around 25 attendees both in person and virtually. Attendees included exporters and their representatives from abroad exhibitions.

Mr. Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, emphasized the importance of the seminar for exporters who frequently go international fairs and claim gold replenishment. Mr. Sanjeev Bhatia, Assistant Director of GJEPC, emphasized the importance of Appendix 4 ‘O’ and the precision required when filling out the necessary details and supporting documentation.

Mr. Sanjay Madaan, Chief Manager, gave a detailed presentation on the methods and requirements of the Appendix 4 ‘O’ form, including references to policy articles and a graphical representation of forms issued in the previous five years.

Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held, with Mr. K.K. Duggal, Director (Policy) GJEPC, and Mr. Anil Sankhwal, COA Member, GJEPC, answering attendees’ questions. Mr. Duggal provided updates on the Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) issue, hinting at upcoming relief measures.
