Richemont Names New CEOs for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels

Richemont, a Swiss luxury corporation, has announced significant leadership changes across its luxury brand portfolio. Catherine Rénier will take over as CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels on September 1, 2024, after Nicolas Bos, who was just appointed CEO of Richemont. Rénier, who has over 20 years of experience in jewellery and luxury timepieces at Richemont, will report directly to Bos. Philippe Hermann, Jaeger-LeCoultre‘s CFO, will act as interim CEO until a permanent successor is chosen.

Following Cyrille Vigneron’s decision to resign after eight years of achievement, Louis Ferla will take over as CEO of Cartier. Vigneron will become Chairman of Cartier Culture & Philanthropy, collaborating closely with Ferla to facilitate a smooth transition. Ferla, who joined Richemont in 2001, provides vast experience from his time at Alfred Dunhill and Cartier, as well as his most recent role as CEO of Vacheron Constantin since 2017.
