Japanese Consulate Visit Improves India-Japan Diamond Relations

The Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) received distinguished guests from the Japanese Consulate in Mumbai, marking a watershed moment in bilateral relations between Japan and India. His Excellency Yagi Koji, Consulate General of Japan in Mumbai, was accompanied by Ohori Keina, Vice-Consul, and Leila Kazi, Specialist business Affairs, Economic Advisor, who visited the BDB to strengthen business connections and cultural exchanges.

The visit emphasized the commitment to improving collaboration between the diamond sectors of both countries. Anoop Mehta, President of the Bharat Diamond Bourse, and Mehul Shah, Vice President, welcomed the delegation, highlighting the historical cooperation and prospects for future collaboration. Discussions focused on expanding trade opportunities, finding new channels, and using technological breakthroughs in the diamond industry.
