GJEPC hosts a seminar on membership benefits and MSME schemes in Satara.

On June 15th, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) collaborated with the Satara District Saraf Suvarnakar Association and the Satara Sarafa Association to hold an informative seminar to raise awareness about the benefits of GJEPC membership, MSME schemes, and IIJS visitor registration.

Over 350 people attended the event, which featured talks from Ms. Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director of National Events at GJEPC, and Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director and Head of Membership at GJEPC. They discussed the benefits of IIJS membership as well as other government schemes such as the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the GJEPC Parichay card, courier-based exports, and the next buyer-seller conference. Attendees were also informed about the International Cooperation (IC) plan, Capacity Building scheme, collateral-free lending facilities, and other incentives accessible to MSME producers.

A notable feature was a presentation about the possibility for global market expansion and jewellery exports of up to Rs.10 lakhs via e-commerce platforms. The lecture discussed export options including hand carry, e-commerce, postal services, eBay, and other platforms. Detailed information about IJEX and the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana was also provided.
