Pandora launches lab-grown diamonds in Denmark.

Pandora is releasing its lab-grown diamond collection in Denmark, marking the first European market to exhibit Pandora‘s revolutionary diamonds, following successful debuts in the Americas, Australia, and the UK.

Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds is driven by a vision to democratize diamond jewellery, making diamonds more accessible and acceptable for a variety of events. This introduction represents a new age of sustainability and innovation in the diamond industry, demonstrating Pandora’s dedication to delivering exquisite yet responsible jewellery.

“Our lab-grown diamonds are the future of luxury.” They mix beauty with responsibility, and we are thrilled to bring them to Denmark. “As a Danish company, it is especially meaningful for us to bring this innovation to our home market,” stated Alexander Lacik, CEO and President of Pandora.

Diamonds Grown Using Renewable Energy

Lab-grown diamonds are produced in laboratories and share the same optical, chemical, thermal, and physical qualities as mined diamonds. They are rated using the same standards known as ‘the four Cs’: cut, color, clarity, and carat. Pandora‘s lab-grown diamonds are made with 100% renewable energy, leaving a carbon footprint that is only 5% that of a mined diamond. Furthermore, the diamonds are set in 100% recycled silver and gold. If all diamonds were created with Pandora‘s carbon footprint, it would save more than 6 million tons of CO2 per year, which is nearly equivalent to Denmark’s annual energy emissions. Pandora stopped using mined diamonds in 2021.

New Collections and Campaigns

Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds will be sold in Denmark in four distinct collections: Pandora Talisman, Pandora Infinite, Pandora Nova, and Pandora Era. These collections offer exquisite rings, necklaces, and earrings made from high-quality conventional diamonds.

The campaign, captured by renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti, depicts champions of self-empowerment and independence, including actress and model Pamela Anderson and former Vogue Creative Director-at-Large Grace Coddington.

Pandora opens its first flagship store.

Pandora‘s new flagship shop in Copenhagen will open on June 6, coinciding with the diamond debut. The world’s largest Pandora store is located on Strøget, Copenhagen’s major pedestrian street, and measures 500m² across two levels.

The store was designed using the architectural principles of Pandora‘s new Evoke concept, and it incorporates Danish style and materials, providing a unique perspective on the Pandora brand. A Style Studio is available for personalized jewelry curation, as well as engraving, gifting, and piercing services.

Pandora Lab-Grown Diamond collections will be available online and in select Pandora locations around Denmark, including the new flagship store in Copenhagen, commencing June 6th, with prices starting at DKK 1899.

Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds are also available in the UK, the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil.
