Mubri hosted a successful BSM Brasil 2024 in São Paulo.

Mubri International Jewelers Association’s Buyer Seller Meeting (BSM) Brasil 2024 finished its second edition with spectacular success, demonstrating Latin America’s growing strength and importance in the worldwide market. The event, held on the 14th and 15th of May, had a notable increase in attendance, indicating its growing prominence.

During the two-day event, a varied range of Brazilian and South American enterprises met with prominent international makers of diamonds, gold, silver jewellery, and gold bars from India, the United States, Belgium, Turkey, and Hong Kong.

BSM Brasil guarantees that exhibitors and buyers are well matched, increasing productivity and reducing time waste. The number of exhibitors more than doubled between the first and second editions in just nine months.

Mubri’s reach extends beyond 18 chapters, with over 2,500 members comprising producers, wholesalers, retailers, and independent jewelers. This year, BSM Brasil received support from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India and the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC).

Kiran Gems, UniDesign, La Joya, S. Vinodkumar, Shivam Jewels, Shree Ramkrishna Exports, Star Rays NY, Sheetal Group, Sutra Jewels, Hari Krishna Exports, Dharmanandan Diamonds, SDS Diamonds, Nadir Gold, ACPL Exports, J.B. and Brothers, Patdiam, Dianco, Aspire Design, ALTR, Arjiv Exports, Hari Dharshan, and Shree Ramdoot Gems were among those who took part.

Visiting buyers came from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, and Colombia, representing large companies such as Vivara, Monte Carlo, Monte Cristo, Sauer, Casa das Aliancas, Benefatto, and Delamour, among others, highlighting BSM Brasil’s role in improving access to quality products in South America.

Ali Pastorini, president of Mubri, said, “We are a group that likes to deliver the best results and we work constantly to make this happen, but I was surprised by the immediate support of several large South American companies that are willing to make BSM Brasil an important part of the world calendar making Sao Paulo city as the main hub in Latin America with the rest of the world.”

The Consul General of India in Brazil, Ms. Manisha Swami, attended the ceremony and personally complimented Ali Pastorini and Dione de Lima, President of the Mubri Brasil chapter, for their tremendous development in less than a year. The next edition of BSM Brasil is slated for May 2025 in São Paulo, with registration opening in the second half of 2024.
