In a dazzling showcase of career possibilities, Gemological Science International (GSI), the esteemed global gemological laboratory, took center stage at the Academia World Edu & Book Fair held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This prestigious event, attended by thousands of students, witnessed a massive footfall of nearly 20,000 attendees and drew participation from 32 prominent educational institutions in and around Jaipur.
The fair’s success was further highlighted by the presence of 70 distinguished speakers hosting multiple sessions, captivating the eager audience with valuable insights. Meenu Brijesh Vyas, the Global Head Gemologist at GSI and a seasoned professional in the field of gemology, played a pivotal role at the fair.
Recognized as a guest speaker at various industry events, Vyas shared her extensive knowledge and insights with aspiring students, shedding light on the diverse career options within the gemological field. Her engaging sessions provided a roadmap for budding gemologists to navigate their way into a successful career.
Speaking on GSI‘s mission, Ramit Kapur, Managing Director of GSI India, expressed, “GSI’s goal is to showcase Gemology as a promising career option in the ever-growing Gems & Jewellery Industry to aspiring students who will be looking for various options to choose from. Vyas also highlighted GSI’s flagship educational program, the Colored Stone Professional course, offered at GSI’s Jaipur campus. She emphasized that the course goes beyond traditional education, providing aspiring gemologists with a holistic understanding of gemology.
