The 19th edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS), India’s largest business-to-consumer jewellery show, was opened today at the Jaipur show and Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura, by chief guest Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt Diya Kumari ji. Shri Vipul Shah, Chairman of the GJEPC, complimented JJS‘s contribution to the Indian jewelry industry and wished it success.
JJS will showcase approximately 300 exhibitors from India and beyond from the 22nd to the 25th of December. JJS has expanded by 18% over the previous year, with 1100+ booths expected in 2023.
The show is traditionally staged in December to capitalize on the flood of international tourists to Jaipur, and this year’s theme is “Emeralds… your stone, your story.” JJS will host five overseas delegations this year. It will also hold the Jaipur Jewellery Designer Festival, which will help to promote upcoming designers. The Pink Club’s concert will include a B2B portion.
“Over time, Jaipur has expanded beyond its fame for cutting and polishing gemstones,” Shri Vipul Shah stated at the opening. It is now a center for the creation of various types of jewelry, including gold, silver, diamond-studded, and jewels set with colorful gems. JJS is a fitting presentation of this strength and captures the soul of Jaipur.”
