The 1.36 carat beautiful deep pink Argyle Pink DiamondTM in the Argyle Rose ring has a dazzling form.
One of the final diamonds to be extracted from the Argyle mine in the East Kimberley, Western Australia, has been included in the newest heirloom piece of jewellery made with Argyle Pink DiamondsTM by Rio Tinto.
The 3.25 carats of rare Argyle pink and blue diamonds in the Argyle RoseTM, which was exclusively created by Western Australian jeweller Solid Gold Diamonds, are renowned for being set by hand in platinum and 18 karat gold with a rose motif.
This one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery features a 1.36-carat fancy deep pink radiant cut diamond, which is incredibly rare. It is just one of twelve radiant-cut diamonds over 1 carat that have a colour grading of 1P that have been produced by Argyle in the past 30 years. 1.89 carats of pink and blue Argyle DiamondsTM and 2.80 carats of white diamonds make up the surrounding petaled design. The Argyle RoseTM retails for A$2 million and comes in ring and statement pendant forms.
Rio Tinto Minerals CEO Sinead Kaufman stated, “I am thrilled to debut the Argyle RoseTM. The globe is simply no longer manufacturing these rare and valuable diamonds, which are 1.5 billion years old and come from one of the most stunning places on earth.
As a part of the Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon PartnerTM strategy, which aims to maintain the provenance and integrity of Argyle Pink Diamonds following the mine’s closure in November 2020, the Argyle RoseTM was developed. The series is directed by renowned worldwide jewellers who honour the most priceless diamonds in the world with their expert craftsmanship and moving designs.
