The top rough diamond exchange in the world, Antwerpsche Diamantkring, has agreed to join forces with the Natural Diamond Council (NDC), becoming the first exchange in the world to do so.
One of Antwerp‘s four diamond exchanges, Diamantkring, claims it wishes to assist the NDC in its endeavours and inspire other businesses and organisations to do the same.
According to Michel Schonfeld, president of the Antwerpsche Diamantkring, “we acknowledge the great work of the Natural Diamond Council as a respected industry body.”
As the NDC‘s CEO, David Kellie, put it, “By becoming a partner, their Board of Directors has demonstrated leadership and vision in recognising the importance of inspiring consumer demand for natural diamonds as being critical to the success of their members.”
