GJEPC Holds Very first Meeting With Kashmir Jewellery Trade

On July 18th, GJEPC‘s leadership and Committee of Administration (CoA) met for the first time with the Kashmiri jewellery trade community in Srinagar. The gathering is a crucial step toward strengthening ties and exploring cooperation potential between Kashmir’s jewellery sellers and retailers and the larger trade network in India.

Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman of the GJEPC, presided over the meeting, which aimed to exchange insights, discuss market trends, and explore potential avenues for mutual growth and cooperation, particularly ways to promote Kashmir’s rich heritage, unique craftsmanship, and exquisite designs. Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman, GJEPC; Mr. Nirav Bhansali, Convener of the National Exhibitions Subcommittee, GJEPC; Mr. Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC; and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, as well as other Council CoA members, were also present.

As part of its continued efforts to enhance these newly created partnerships, GJEPC has extended an invitation to Kashmir’s jewellery organizations to attend the next IIJS Premiere in Mumbai from August 8 to 13.
