GIA India presented a graduation ceremony for Graduate Diamonds Diploma Program students on its Mumbai campus. Devansh Rajesh Shah, Partner of Venus Jewel, was the event’s chief guest.
The graduation ceremony was followed by an interactive session where Shah discussed “Opportunities in the Natural Diamond Industry.”
Sharing his thoughts with the students, he stated, “We deal with natural diamonds, a high-value product, and clients rely on us to give them with accurate information. Education from institutes such as GIA is critical for instilling trust and confidence in customers regarding this business.”
Addressing the students, Apoorva Deshingkar, Senior Director – Education and Market Development, GIA India, stated, “I’d like to congratulate our GIA Diamond Graduates on their outstanding accomplishment. The gem and jewellery industry is extremely skill-based, and our programs equip our students with time-tested skills and knowledge to ensure they are industry-ready.”
Aadit Parekh, GIA Diamonds Graduate, stated, “I learned about GIA through industry contacts. As I start my diamond business, the skills I learned from the class will be tremendously valuable.”
