The GJEPC‘s leadership team, including Chairman Mr. Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Executive Director Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, and Policy Advisor Ms. Monika Mohta, met with the Honourable Finance Minister, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, today, June 13th. The GJEPC delegation commended the Finance Minister on her efforts and discussed important concerns and challenges facing the gem and jewellery sector.
Following the discussion, Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, stated, “We appreciate the Finance Minister’s time and understanding of the unique challenges our industry faces.” We look forward to working with the government to address these concerns and increase the industry’s contribution to the national economy.”
