GJEPC Delegation Investigates Growth Opportunities in Latin America.

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has scheduled a Latin American delegation visit from May 21st to 29th, 2024. The delegation will visit Brazil (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), Colombia (Bogotá), and Panama City.

The purpose of the visit is to look for markets in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region that could help India’s exports. The delegates, led by Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman of GJEPC, will examine market demands and requirements, explore business prospects in the gems and jewellery sector, and network with industry groups and top firms.

They will also endeavor to better understand these nations’ import and export rules, as well as encourage participation in the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) and Buyer-Seller Meetings.

The mission has held interactive sessions with the Indian Embassy in Brazil and prominent merchants such as H Stern. Other companies represented at the networking event included Monte Cristo, Vivara, VQ Jewellery, and Villar Joias.
