Kuwayama Corporation of Japan has joined the CIBJO.

Kuwayama Corporation, a renowned Japanese jewellery producer, has joined the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) as a Commercial Member.

Kuwayama Corporation was founded in Tokyo in 1964 and is now Japan’s largest integrated jewellery maker. With manufacturing facilities in Japan, China, and Thailand, the company’s product line includes chains, rings, cast items, and other jewelry components such as pearls and diamonds. Kuwayama also creates tailored goods for a variety of Japanese and international jewellery brands, utilizing its own technologies and worldwide production system.

CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri stated, “We are thrilled to welcome the Kuwayama Corporation to the World Jewellery Confederation. As a major player in the world’s third largest jewellery market, with a history of meeting the highest standards of production, craftsmanship, and transparency demanded by the Japanese consumer, we are delighted that the international jewellery family will now benefit from our knowledge and expertise.”

The Kuwayama Corporation is now CIBJO‘s sole commercial member from Japan.
