Beyond the organizers’, retailers’, and exhibitors’ expectations, the Silver Show of India was a resounding success. The relocation of SSI to Mumbai has benefited everyone and yielded significant rewards. The hard work of these two organizations, along with collaboration from GES and IBJA, has made SSI a huge success.
The SSI show, which took place from June 8 to June 11 at the JIO World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, included roughly 432 stalls with 177 participants from all over the nation. A whopping 11000 trade visitors from all regions of the nation attended the exhibition. There were more than two lakh designs on display in the expo.
There was a buying frenzy; some manufacturers who were showing claimed to have sizable orders for the upcoming four to five months, while other exhibitors said their stock was depleted in the first two days. Visitors from all around the nation expressed their delight at being at SSI and said they had a wonderful day. They were astonished by the enormous variety at SSI amazing artisanship and fantastic, unique patterns. It has been verified that orders for around 150 tons of silver jewelry and other items were placed with various exhibitors.
Retailers claimed that they will now need to focus more on silver than they previously did and showcase it to customers in an engaging way. Leading corporate jewelers like Kalyan Jewellers have stated that plans are in the works for exclusive silver jewelry outlets.
It was challenging to choose the best performing categories due to the wide variety and the distinctiveness of each exhibitor in terms of category, pricing, quality, variety, etc.
The SSI has proven a huge success, and the exhibitors want a bigger SSI. A couple of the players who were absent now want to take part in the upcoming matches.
The SSI’s organizers, GES, promised two more expansive iterations of the event that would alternate between Mumbai and Bangalore.
