VBJ Showcases Heritage and Craftsmanship at IGNITION 2026
VBJ (Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers), one of South India’s leading heritage jewellery brands, partnered with IGNITION 2026, the thought leadership platform presented by the Shiv Nadar Foundation and curated by journalist Shoma Chaudhury. Hosted at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, the event brought together eminent personalities from diplomacy, cinema and international affairs, while VBJ unveiled its latest PARRO – Signature Collection, inspired by the beauty and symbolism of the parrot.
The programme featured engaging sessions with Dr. Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader, who shared insights on developments in West Asia; actor Ali Fazal, who spoke about his journey from Indian cinema to Hollywood; and former Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, who discussed shifting global dynamics and his book China’s Wars.
VBJ presented a specially curated display of the PARRO – The Signature Parrot Collection, blending intricate craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from nature, the collection reflects the brand’s dedication to creating timeless jewellery with artistic excellence.

Following extensive research by the VBJ team, the Sengol was reinstated beside the Speaker’s chair in the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Building on its rich legacy, VBJ is now preparing to launch its largest jewellery showroom on Coimbatore’s 100ft Road.
