IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 Intensifies Nepal Buyer Connect with Multi-City Roadshow

GJEPC has strengthened its international buyer promotion campaign for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 through an extensive roadshow across Nepal, engaging key jewellery associations, trade organisations and retailers to boost buyer participation at the upcoming exhibition.
The delegation, led by Ajay Purohit, Deputy Head – International Events, GJEPC, visited Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Pokhara and Chitwan, where it interacted with prominent industry representatives and invited buyers, wholesalers, manufacturers and trade bodies to attend IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026.
In Kathmandu, the team met Shakti Beghani, President of the Nepal Gems & Jewellery Association, along with senior office bearers. Additional meetings were held with Keshabh Sunar, President of the Nepal Gold Silver Craft Business Association, and Hari Rasailli, Executive Director of the Nepal Gold Silver Art Business Association.
The outreach also included a meeting in Lalitpur with Krishna Lal Maharjan, President of the Lalitpur Gems & Jewellery Association. Another significant interaction took place in Kathmandu with Arjun Rasailli, President of the Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), which represents nearly 25,000 jewellers, artisans and dealers across Nepal.
As part of the visit, the GJEPC delegation paid a courtesy call on Kishan Sunar, President of the Federation of Nepal Gold Silver Gems and Jewellery Association (FNGSGJA), the country’s apex body representing district-level jewellery associations and affiliated members. The team also engaged with executive committee members of the Nepal Gold Silver Gem & Jewellery Entrepreneur Union in Pokhara and the Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers Association in Chitwan.
The Nepal roadshow is part of GJEPC‘s wider international promotional campaign for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026, covering major jewellery markets including the UK, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and GCC countries such as the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
