GJEPC Hosts Uzbekistan Ambassador to Foster New Trade Collaborations

GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office recently hosted an interactive session with H.E. Mr. Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, along with nearly 20 industry representatives, to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral trade in the gems and jewellery sector.

The session was led by Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman (North), GJEPC, and highlighted the strengths of both the Indian and Uzbek industries, emerging trade potential, and Uzbekistan’s initiatives aimed at boosting collaboration with global partners.

During the interaction, Ambassador Rustambaev extended an invitation to GJEPC to organise a business delegation visit to Uzbekistan, supported by the Indian Embassy. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing a strong commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation.
