Tiffany & Co. Appoints David Ponzo as Deputy CEO to Bolster Leadership Team

Tiffany & Co., the LVMH-owned luxury jewellery house, has strengthened its leadership structure with the appointment of David Ponzo to the newly created position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Alongside this, Thierry Vasseur has been elevated to the role of Executive Vice President to lead the brand’s global retail and product strategy.

Joining Tiffany & Co. from Louis Vuitton, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer, Ponzo will oversee the brand’s worldwide retail operations, corporate commercial functions, and high jewellery division. His responsibilities encompass areas previously managed by former Chief Commercial Officer Gavin Haig.

In a parallel leadership move, Thierry Vasseur has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Jewelry, High Jewelry, Home, and Accessories. In this expanded role, Vasseur will be responsible for driving global product marketing and merchandising, ensuring closer alignment between Tiffany’s creative vision and its long-term commercial ambitions.
