Lab-Grown Diamond Trailblazer Bakul Limbasiya Receives APO National Award

Bakul Limbasiya, Founder of Bhathwari Technologies, has been honoured with the prestigious APO National Award, a national-level recognition celebrating excellence in leadership, innovation, and productivity. Instituted by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and implemented in India by the National Productivity Council under DPIIT, the award is regarded as one of the country’s highest accolades for enhancing industrial competitiveness.

This honour marks a significant achievement for India’s lab-grown diamond industry. Associated with the sector since 1998, Limbasiya created India’s first lab-grown diamond in 2004, establishing the foundation for a technology-driven LGD ecosystem in the country.

Under his leadership, Bhathwari Technologies has pioneered advancements in diamond growth and processing technologies, contributing to export-oriented expansion and responsible manufacturing in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
