IIG Launches ‘Diamond Fundamentals’ Story-Driven Learning Guide

The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) has launched Diamond Fundamentals, an innovative educational resource that explains diamond basics through engaging storytelling. Written by Rahul Desai, CEO and MD of IIG, the book approaches core concepts from a learner-centric perspective, transforming technical information into simple, relatable narratives.

The book was unveiled at Hari Krishna Exports in Icchapore with the support of the Dholakia family. A foreword by Padma Shri Savji Dholakia highlights the increasing importance of narrative-based learning in today’s information-saturated environment.

Offered in both print and audio formats, Diamond Fundamentals is set to expand into a podcast series and a self-learning course. The initiative is designed to enhance industry-wide product understanding through clear, accessible and story-led education.
