BDB ‘Run for Unity’ Celebrates 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

The Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) came together in a spirited celebration on 31st October to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, coinciding with BDB’s 41st Incorporation Year and 15 years of operations at the Bandra-Kurla Complex.

The morning commenced with a vibrant ‘Run for Unity’ on the BDB campus, aligning with the nationwide Ekta Diwas initiative inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to celebrate India’s unity. Over a hundred participants joined the run, paying tribute to Sardar Patel’s enduring legacy of strength and togetherness.

The event was inaugurated by Board Members Shri Kiran Gandhi, Shri Jagdish Somani, and Shri Saket Mehta, Convener of the BDB Sports Committee, who flagged off the run. Shri Mehta extended appreciation to Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mr. Maheshchandra Kaloni, and Mr. Samir Jha for their flawless coordination, and expressed gratitude to the BDB Board and senior leadership for their unwavering support.
