
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) successfully concluded the 4th batch of its Exporter Mentorship Familiarisation (FAM) Program, held from 22nd to 26th September 2025 across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. The initiative wrapped up with impactful interactions, recognition, and extensive industry exposure, equipping Indian jewellery manufacturers with a comprehensive understanding of opportunities in the India–UAE jewellery trade.
Key Highlights:
- One-on-One Interactions & Feedback: Delegates engaged in focused sessions to exchange insights and share feedback, ensuring practical takeaways from the program.
- Industry Visit with Mr. Ramesh Vora: Participants visited the office of Mr. Ramesh Vora, Owner of Bafleh Jewellery, a prominent GCC wholesaler and retailer. They explored a diverse jewellery collection and gained first-hand knowledge of market requirements and consumer preferences.
- Recognition & Appreciation: Certificates of Appreciation were presented by GJEPC, with Mr. Ramesh Vora honouring delegates for their active participation.
- Meeting with Consul General of India: Delegates interacted with Shri Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai, during the Sharjah Show, further strengthening bilateral ties.
- Sharjah Show Exposure: The delegation concluded their journey with a visit to the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show at the Sharjah Expo Centre, gaining valuable insights into both regional and international jewellery markets.
Spanning five days, the FAM Program provided a holistic experience through factory visits, retail explorations, B2B networking, and trade fair exposure. The participants returned with stronger connections, enhanced knowledge, and a deeper understanding of the UAE jewellery ecosystem.
