The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) held its 59th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 23rd September at 12:00 PM IST in a hybrid mode, allowing members to attend in person at Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai, or virtually via video conferencing.
In compliance with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) norms, members exercised their votes electronically on various resolutions during the remote e-voting window, which was open from 20th to 22nd September 2025. The Annual Report was shared digitally and made accessible on the Council’s website under the Legal & Secretarial Compliances section.
Key items on the agenda included approval of the audited financial statements for FY 2024–25, appointment of branch auditors for regional offices, and confirmation of newly elected Committee of Administration (CoA) members as Council Directors.
The following members, elected during the CoA Elections 2024, were regularised as Directors: Mr. Shaunak Parikh, Mr. Anoop Mehta, Mr. Anilkumar Virani, Mr. Pankaj Parekh, Mr. Krishnamoorthy Srinivasan, Mr. Jayantibhai Savaliya, Mr. Ashishkumar Borda, Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Mr. Mansukhlal Kothari, Mr. Manish Jiwani, Mr. Dwarka Prasad Khandelwal, Ms. Khushbu Ranawat, and Mr. Mahender Tayal.
Chairman Mr. Kirit Bhansali presided over the meeting, reiterating the Council’s focus on transparency, compliance, and enhancing engagement with its members.
