
Diamonds Do Good (DDG), the international nonprofit dedicated to showcasing the positive impact of natural diamonds, has named Marcus ter Haar as its next President-Elect, effective January 1, 2026.
On the same day, Pete Engel will take over as President, succeeding Kathy Corey at the end of her term. Ter Haar, a distinguished diamond industry figure with deep roots in Botswana, has played a pivotal role in championing sustainability, entrepreneurship, and youth development programs.
As Co-Chair of DDG’s Beneficiary Committee, he will collaborate with Engel and the Board to strengthen DDG’s global efforts in grantmaking, storytelling, and partnerships.
