Jewelers of America (JA), the national association representing businesses in the fine jewelry sector, has announced the first-ever recipients of its newly launched Impact Initiative—a comprehensive program aimed at strengthening and sustaining the jewelry industry.
Six jewelry trade organizations have been awarded funding for projects focused on key industry needs, including education, expanding access to the trade, promoting ethical and sustainable practices, and driving innovation. The selected associations offer a diverse mix of programs that cater to both regional and international audiences.
JA President & CEO David J. Bonaparte shared his thoughts on the initiative, stating, “We believe in uniting the industry through education, empowerment, and community. The applicants for our inaugural Impact Initiative clearly demonstrated these values. We’re proud to support these six organizations and are eager to see the positive impact of their programs.”
The recipients of the Jewelers of America Impact Initiative grants are:
- BIJC Education Fund
- Diamonds Do Good
- JSA Security Certification Program
- Jewelers Vigilance Committee
- Texas Jewelers Association
These initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to the industry’s ongoing evolution and resilience.
