International Yoga Day 2025 Celebrated by Hari Krishna Exports

Embodying a powerful message of harmony, health, and holistic wellness, Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. commemorated International Yoga Day 2025 with enthusiastic participation from over 7,300 individuals across India. Among them were 2,300 employees from the company’s Surat and Mumbai offices and over 5,000 participants representing Kisna’s 81 retail outlets across 18 states. The event showcased HK’s deep-rooted belief that business success begins with the well-being of its people and communities.

At the Surat headquarters, more than 1,700 team members gathered for a unified yoga session, while in Mumbai, 600 employees took part in guided asanas and breathing exercises led by expert instructors. HK‘s international teams also joined remotely, reinforcing a global spirit of mindfulness and shared purpose.

Kisna, the jewellery arm of Hari Krishna Exports, also held large-scale Yoga Day programs across 25+ locations, involving 81 stores and engaging over 5,000 people in a collective celebration of mental and physical well-being.

“Yoga is more than a physical activity—it’s a pathway to inner peace,” stated Ghanshyam Dholakia. “At HK, we believe a calm mind leads to better decisions. Wellness is not just important—it’s fundamental to leadership and long-term performance.”

Well-being at Hari Krishna Exports goes beyond annual events. The company has embedded daily Anapana meditation sessions into its culture—conducted after lunch, in silent, device-free environments—allowing employees to reconnect with their breath and center themselves amidst the daily hustle.

Though different in technique, Anapana and yoga share a common goal: fostering inner clarity and resilience. While Anapana focuses on passive breath observation, yogic pranayama involves active breath control—both nurturing mindfulness and balance, which the company sees as essential to personal and professional excellence.

“While gyms help build external strength, yoga strengthens from within,” said Pintu Dholakia, second-generation leader at HK and long-time meditation practitioner. “Yoga enhances flexibility, promotes longevity, and brings true peace. I’m grateful to leaders like Baba Ramdev and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating yoga to global recognition.”

Hari Krishna Exports’ wellness philosophy aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. The company backs this mission through a wide-ranging wellness ecosystem—offering on-site health check-ups, a fully equipped wellness center, blood donation drives, marathons, and essential safety measures such as a No Tobacco Policy and mandatory helmet use for employees.

Partner Rajubhai Dholakia expressed heartfelt gratitude to all industry peers and supporters who joined in celebrating the occasion. “At HK, promoting well-being is more than policy—it’s a way of life, inspired by our founder’s commitment to healthy living and embraced by every member of the HK family,” he shared.

Through these ongoing initiatives, Hari Krishna Exports continues to lead with intention and care, embedding wellness into its corporate DNA and reinforcing its role as a purpose-driven, socially responsible industry leader.
