IIJS Advantages and Export Incentives Spotlighted at Nashik Roadshow

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), in collaboration with the Nashik Saraf Association, hosted an IIJS Premiere 2025 Roadshow and MSME Awareness Program in Nashik, Maharashtra. The event aimed to educate local jewellers about export opportunities, modern business practices, and various government schemes supporting the gem and jewellery industry.

The program commenced with a welcome note by Mr. Girish, President of the Nashik Saraf Association. This was followed by an insightful presentation by Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director – Membership, GJEPC, who outlined export procedures, international exhibitions, IJEX, and upcoming global shows in Dubai and Doha. He also discussed MSME benefits, cluster development, Mega CFCs, handicrafts, and alternative export modes such as e-commerce, courier, and postal services.

Ms. Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director at GJEPC, elaborated on the key highlights of IIJS Premiere, emphasizing special registration benefits and privileges extended to member associations during the registration process.

Chartered Accountant Dr. Krushnat Patil offered practical guidance on financial management and record-keeping tailored to jewellers. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, during which participants showed strong interest in GJEPC membership and the prospects of expanding into exports.
