H.E. Mr. Sandeep Chakravorty, Ambassador of India to Indonesia, along with Ms. Malvika Priyadarshini, Counsellor (Economics and Commerce), met with Mr. Pranabes Hazra, Chief Manager – National Events at GJEPC, to explore opportunities for enhancing trade cooperation in the gem and jewellery industry.
The discussion focused on promoting Indian gem and jewellery exports and encouraging Indonesian participation in the upcoming IIJS Premiere and SAJEX 2025 exhibitions. Ms. Priyadarshini mentioned that the Embassy plans to invite the Indonesia Goldsmith and Jewellers Association to organize a delegation of top Indonesian manufacturers for a visit to India. She emphasized the value of including factory tours to provide delegates with firsthand exposure to India’s robust manufacturing capabilities.
