A comprehensive training program focused on Tooling, Engraving, and Setting began on 12 May at the Ankurhati Gems & Jewellery Park located in Howrah, West Bengal. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the GJEPC’s Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC in Mumbai and the GJEPC Regional Office in Kolkata, with assistance from the Ankurhati Gems & Jewellery Welfare Association.
The program, spearheaded by master jeweller Mr. Bishwajeet Parui—who possesses over 25 years of expertise and has been guided by the esteemed Todd Daniels—aims to provide jewellery professionals with high-precision techniques that meet international standards. This initiative addresses the growing demand for detailed craftsmanship in the global fine jewellery sector.
Mr. Pankaj Parekh, the Eastern Regional Chairman of GJEPC, encouraged participants to focus on skill enhancement in order to stay competitive in the changing jewellery industry.
