Chow Tai Fook will launch 100% recycled gold jewelry collections in 2025 as part of its sustainability commitment.

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, based in Hong Kong, is to launch its first collection of 100% recycled gold jewellery in 2025, in line with its ambitious Sustainability 2049 objective. The project is part of the company’s larger commitment to decreasing its environmental footprint, with targets of reaching net-zero emissions by 2049 and lowering overall emissions by 50% by 2030.

The Sustainability 2049 framework is organized around three primary pillars: the environment, people, and industry. The greater usage of recycled metals in the company’s product offerings is an important component of their strategy. This action establishes Chow Tai Fook as the first Chinese jewellery brand to introduce products made entirely of recycled gold, with the goal of setting new industry norms.

In addition to lowering its reliance on newly mined precious metals, the company will collaborate with international and local industry organizations to develop new standards for recycled gold jewelry. Chow Tai Fook aims to achieve 100% traceability for its T·MARK diamonds by 2029, ultimately tracking them back to their mine of origin.

Chow Tai Fook‘s commitment to sustainability is further evidenced by its participation in the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index and the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) for two years running.
