The collection featured 76 magnificent diamonds, including rare pink, red, and violet diamonds from the Argyle diamond mine, as well as white and yellow diamonds from the Diavik diamond mine in Canada. One of the tender&#8217;s highlights was the inclusion of seven Old Masters, ancient diamonds from the Argyle mine.<br><br>The tender drew international interest, with 12 winning bids from Australia, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, the Middle East, Singapore, and North America. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riotinto.com\/en\/about\/executive-committee\/sinead-kaufman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sinead Kaufman, CEO of Rio Tinto<\/a> Minerals, stated, &#8220;The continued strong global interest in highly collectible natural colored diamonds and the resulting value creation reflects their stature as works of art to be treasured for future generations.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most sought-after lots, a 4.04-carat pure white diamond from Diavik combined with two rare violet diamonds from Argyle, has been given to Danish luxury jeweler Hartmanns. Hartmanns will work with Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon Partner Glajz to produce an heirloom jewel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jfinediamonds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">J FINE<\/a>, a renowned US jeweller who specializes in colored diamonds, was also a successful bidder. Jordan Fine, the owner, emphasized the significant market demand for rare, natural-colored diamonds with immaculate provenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to jewellery historian Vivienne Becker, the Argyle Pink Diamonds are mysterious, fascinating, and amazing.
