In a pivotal meeting held today, June 11th, in New Delhi, Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem<\/a>, Chair of the Kimberley Process (KP)<\/a> for 2024, met with Mr Siddharth Mahajan, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry<\/a>, and focal point of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) in India, for discussions that highlighted collaborative efforts to advance KP<\/a> objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Mahajan praised the KP<\/a> Chair’s leadership and the excellent organization of the KP<\/a> Intersessional Meeting in Dubai. He emphasized the UAE Chairmanship’s effective and results-oriented approach, particularly the approval of the Administrative Decision (AD) on Co-Chairmanship and Co-Vice Chairmanship, in which India played an important role in reaching an agreement.
