\u00b7 54 jewellery manufacturers and exporters displayed diamonds, loose gemstones, gemstone and diamond studded jewelry, and silver jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GJEPC<\/a>, the leading body of India’s gem and jewellery industry, hosted the third edition of the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS)<\/a> in Jaipur. The event, powered by Gemfields<\/a>, will take place from April 12 to 14 at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre in Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IGJS Jaipur<\/a> is a selected event that showcases the best of Indian workmanship, with over 54 jewellery manufacturers and exporters showing a diverse range of Diamonds, Loose Gemstones, Gemstone and Diamond Studded Jewellery, and Silver Jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shilpi R. Purohit, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Industries Department, Govt. Of Rajasthan, Jaipur; Mahendra Agrawal, Convener, Colored Gemstones Panel, GJEPC<\/a>; K.B. Goyal, Con<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IGJS 2024<\/a> attracted 250 international buyers from 27 countries, including Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC<\/a>, stated, “India’s gem and jewellery industry is a global leader, making significant contributions to the global market. Our yearly exports of USD 40 billion demonstrate our strength and ability in this sector, which provides employment for over 5 million people. We remain committed to fostering strong international commercial links between India and global markets. This commitment is proven by programs such as IGJS<\/a> Shows, as well as actively facilitating chances for our exporters through participation in international events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vipul Shah<\/a> went on to say, “GJEPC<\/a> is actively working with the government to ensure favorable policies in free trade agreements for the sector. We have already seen the favorable impact of the India-UAE CEPA, and we expect similar benefits for the industry in the upcoming FTAs with the GCC, Canada, the UK, and the EU.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nilesh Kothari, Convener of International Exhibitions at GJEPC<\/a>, stated, “IGJS Jaipur<\/a>, an exclusive event for international buyers, is a tribute to India’s jewellery production prowess to serve the worldwide market. This show model has proven to be extremely popular, with buyers from all around the world responding enthusiastically. Heather Mayantis, Senior Buyer at Reeds Jewelers<\/a>, says, “The eCommerce trend has exploded among consumers, and while yellow gold remains highly sought-after, gemstones are having a moment!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judith Fisher<\/a>, Merchandising Officer at Reeds Jewelers<\/a>, stated, “Our success is dependent on partnerships and relationships with vendors and buyers, and when we discover that synergy and that kind of perfect marriage, there’s nowhere to go but up.
